I’m really amazed that the boats are still sitting in the water. Does salt water not freeze enough to worry about it? All of our boats, except for the freighters and tugboats, are taken out for the winter (unless bubblers are used.) That said, beautiful picture and lovely haiku.
The waters of the city of Groningen were cut off from sea long ago so the salt is gone, but the boats are often used in salt water as well. Thanks for liking!
