it must have taken ages
for you to reach this shore
many unwritten pages
of history in store
smoothly, you are reflecting
the brightest blue of time
you must have been expecting
I would catch you in rhyme
now let the tide of future
crash o’er this pebble beach
and leave your precious nature
forever out of reach

Not a pantoum, but a delightful rhyming poem that probably has a name, but I don’t know it. I like the idea of the waves hiding the beauty from wandering fingers 🙂
