the light is gone with the dark flood
drowning leaves below sulking trees
cover up the stream for the night
I love this melancholic mood
I sing in to the gentle breeze
enjoying my wandering flight
I join the music of the wood
the dark roar of its minor keys
shines a wild and majestic light
over the tree tops I will soar
what could a lonely owl want more?

I love the wild, musical images in this one!

I particularly like your first stanza, the leaves covering the stream, lovely image.
